Online one-to-one veterinary guidance for owners who need professional support tailored to their horse, their personal situation, and the realities of their stable or farm.
Your horse has already had colic or shows other digestive problems such as faecal water syndrome or gastric ulcers. Or you recognise how serious colic can be and want to make sure that your feeding, housing, and daily management effectively support digestive health rather than unintentionally increasing avoidable risk. Guidance is then tailored closely to your horse, your farm, and daily management, so that changes are practical, sustainable, and genuinely adapted to your horse and farm reality.
Foaling approaches, and you are aware of how quickly both delivery and the first neonatal hours can become critical. You want to understand how to act before, during, and after birth in ways that fit your own setting, your mare, and your foal, including situations where immediate action matters because those first critical minutes cannot wait for veterinary help. Early management up to weaning then focuses on how to actively promote healthy development and help the foal realise its genetic potential.
You know that the unique characteristics of miniature horses often create challenges that standard horse advice does not fully address. Feeding, weight management, dental care, prevention of hyperlipidaemia, or breeding choices where hereditary conditions such as dwarfism matter all require practical decisions that differ in miniature horses. Guidance is then tailored to your own miniature horses and daily setting, drawing on more than a decade of practical miniature horse breeding and management.
Four online sessions of approximately 60 minutes each, with veterinary guidance focused entirely on the specific concerns, priorities, and practical decisions most relevant to your horse, your situation, and the questions you want to address in depth.
After each session, you receive a written summary highlighting the key points discussed, personalised recommendations, and the practical priorities that should guide the next stage of implementation.
Follow-up email contact between sessions allows relevant questions arising during implementation to be clarified where needed, helping maintain continuity as recommendations are put into practice.
The timing of the sessions is arranged individually, depending on the situation being addressed and what is most useful for you and your horse.
Guidance is available in English, Spanish, or German.
“My mare had just given birth, and I did have to step in. Thankfully, I was able to use the training Carolin gave me, and the foal is doing really well. Without her, I would have felt completely lost, and with her I felt so much more confident and comfortable.”
— Sophie, horse owner
Individual veterinary guidance is offered at €890 across all programme lines and includes four online sessions, personalised written guidance, and support between sessions.
To ensure that each owner receives the attention this format requires, only a limited number of individual guidance programmes are available each month.
Requests are considered in the order they are received, depending on current availability.
I personally respond to each enquiry by email.
“After Omar had colic, Carolin helped me understand what had probably caused it and what I needed to change. Her guidance was incredibly valuable, and I am very grateful for it. That level of advice when you need it most is very difficult to find, and I really thank her for that. Since then, we have not had colic again, either with him or with the other horses.”
